My journey didn’t begin with online business, social media, or “passive income.” Long before remote work became mainstream, I was already exploring different ways to earn independent income, build leverage, and escape the limitations of traditional employment.
In my early career, I worked in financial services, including life insurance and investment products. That experience taught me sales psychology, trust-building, and how people make decisions under pressure — skills that still influence everything I do today.
Over the years, I continued experimenting with various business models, including e-commerce, logistics, consulting, and real estate. Some ventures worked, others didn’t. What mattered wasn’t the industry — it was the pattern. I was always searching for a way to create income that didn’t require being chained to a desk, a location, or a rigid schedule.
Eventually, that path led me into real estate, where I spent years helping buyers and sellers navigate complex, high-stakes transactions. While real estate can be rewarding, it’s also one of the most demanding and regulated professions there is. Long hours, constant pressure, licensing requirements, and unpredictable income eventually took their toll.
By 2019, the high-stress, time-for-money cycle left me completely burned out. I made a radical, non-negotiable decision: to design a life of freedom. In December 2019, I sold my home, left the United States, and moved to Colombia. My goal was simple: rebuild my life around time freedom, location independence, and sustainable online income.
That decision marked the end of one chapter — and the beginning of another.
