I’m an entrepreneur with decades of business experience across multiple industries. Today, my work is centered on helping people over 40 turn what they already know, have learned, and have accomplished into a practical online business without hype, unnecessary complexity, or endless information consumption.
I created Freedom After 40 for people who know they want more control over their time, income, and future, but do not want to spend years chasing every new tactic or trying to become somebody they are not.
The Road to Freedom After 40 Wasn’t a Straight Line
My journey did not begin with social media, online courses, or the phrase “digital business.” Long before those things became mainstream, I was already interested in entrepreneurship, independent income, and finding better ways to create value outside a traditional job.
Early in my career, I worked in financial services, including life insurance and investment products. That taught me a great deal about sales, trust, communication, and the way people make important decisions.
Over time, I explored and worked across different business environments, including ecommerce, logistics, consulting, and real estate. Some things worked. Some did not. Every chapter taught me something about customers, risk, systems, persistence, and the difference between owning a business and simply creating another demanding job for yourself.
Real estate became a substantial part of my professional life. I spent years helping buyers and sellers navigate complicated, high-stakes decisions. It was valuable work, but it also came with long hours, constant pressure, licensing requirements, unpredictable schedules, and a business model that could consume almost every available hour if you let it.
By 2019, I was ready for a major change. In December of that year, I sold my home, left the United States, and moved to Colombia. That was not a retirement decision. It was a decision to redesign how I wanted to live and work.
I wanted more control over my time, more location flexibility, and a business model that could increasingly be built around systems and digital assets rather than constant physical presence.
I Kept Seeing Smart People Buried Under Too Much Information
The online-business world has no shortage of information. The harder problem is knowing which information matters now, what belongs later, and what you can ignore completely.
I saw people buying more courses, watching more videos, testing more tools, and jumping between business models without ever building enough of one thing to create momentum.
That is the problem Freedom After 40 is designed to address.
